Job Purpose:

• All aspects of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) lifecycle management, including analysis, design, integration, customisation, development, deployment, testing, training and support.
• Business process analysis / design and technical realisation through ERP.
• Completing ERP updates and engaging with all organisation levels to deliver solutions.
• Proposal, integration and deployment of third-party ERP modules as required.

Reporting to the Group IT / Business Systems Manager, the ERP Analyst / Developer will have the following main duties and responsibilities:

• Working in an established team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development of ERP, including interfaces to applications or reporting.
• Analysing or proposing business process improvement, then leading the technical implementation.
• Analysing, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining the Syspro ERP system, including the database back-end.
• Working with the key business stakeholders to design and implement processes and systems, ensuring these meet strategic business goals.
• Developing a strong understanding of organisation’s structure, policies and processes, recommending appropriate solutions and improvements.
• Retaining a business process and technical lead level knowledge of the company’s ERP system.
• Improving business process by de-skilling and automating tasks.
• Recommending and deploying ERP-related software solutions.
• Helping in the continuous improvement of ERP processes.
• Contributing to the ERP frequency-based activities, such as month-end processing, annual reporting and data maintenance.

Experience and Qualifications:

Essential:

• A Degree qualification, or equivalent experience in a suitable IT discipline.
• Previous experience with the analysis and development of solutions in an ERP environment.
• Business process analysis experience.
• Possessing the ability to convey process and appropriate technical detail at all levels.
• Demonstrable technical skills in a Microsoft environment, including applications development (Visual Studio and SQL Server).
• Previous experience with ERP development, deployment, customisation and integration.
• Business analysis and process design experience.
• C# and .NET software development experience.

Desirable:

• Previous experience of manufacturing, distribution and IT sales.
• Previous experience with the Syspro ERP System.
• Microsoft SQL Server database development experience.
