Logistics Assistant - VR/21083
Urgent requirement for a Logistics Assistant to join an international oil services company, based in the Dyce area of Aberdeen on a 6-month contract. As a Logistics Assistant, you will be responsible for coordinating various shipments. Applicants must have previous experience in logistics / freight forwarding.
As a Logistics Assistant your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating multiple shipments, ensuring they are delivered on time.
- Creating commercial invoices / shipping paperwork.
- Requesting quotations from Freight Forwarders / Shipping Agents.
- Assisting the Purchasing Team when required.
Applicants to this role must have previous experience in a similar role. You must have a good understanding of Import/Export regimes and Customs Compliance. Previous knowledge of the handling of Dangerous Goods is desirable.
