*Exclusive* - Supply Chain Manager required to join an internationally recognised E&P company as they ramp up their operations in the North Sea. This is a permanent position, initially based in central Aberdeen but likely to move west of the city in 2020.

Initially leading a small team, the Supply Chain Manager’s responsibilities will also include:

  • Managing SCM operations, ensuring compliance with company and legislative processes / procedures.
  • Overseeing the contracting and procurement services to provide the company with equipment, materials and third-party services in support of operations and projects.
  • Managing helicopters transport of passengers and freight, as well as supply vessel transport to / from offshore locations.
  • Overseeing the operated supply base, including warehouse control to ensure timely delivery of all offshore operational requirements and waste disposal (in accordance with relevant laws / regulations).
  • Representing the company at meetings with relevant industrial bodies.
  • Coaching other members of the SCM Team.

This position is ideally suited to applicants offering extensive experience in Supply Chain Management within the Oil and Gas industry, preferably from an operator / E&P environment. You should also have excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement business plans and budgeting. A CIPS qualification would also be preferred.
