Offshore Drilling Materials Coordinator required for a 6-month contract. Alongside coordinating and controlling all material movements to and from the offshore drilling rig, the successful candidate will also support the Drilling and Logistics Teams on a day-to-day basis for well planning and operational support.

    

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and controlling all material movements to and from offshore drilling rig in the UKCS.
  • Supporting the detailed planning of mobilisation and demobilisation activities for rig operation, including rig move, anchor handling and other operational preparation.
  • Coordinating logistics and materials activities, required to perform the drilling operation in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Supporting the Drilling and Logistics Teams on day to day basis for well planning and operational support as required.
  • Arranging, directing and supervising all marine and air transport of personnel and equipment.
  • Ensuring emergency response resources are available and operational as per operational requirement at any time.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of all material movements to / from the drilling rig, including rental equipment.
  • Supporting Onshore Drilling Materials Coordinator to create load lists for all materials for loadout to your assigned offshore asset.
  • Ensuring that all lifting equipment is certified according to requirements and Statutory Regulations.
  • Coordinating the receipt, handling, storage, maintenance and transport of all Company and Contractor provided materials offshore.

    

Applicants to this role must have offshore experience in the drilling industry, and hold a valid Dangerous Goods by Air and Sea Certificate. Valid Offshore Medical, BOSIET and MIST certificates are also essential for this role, as is being able to successfully work within a team.
