Offshore Fluids Specialist / Mud Engineer – VR/23813
TMM are currently recruiting for our client for a Formate / Cesium Fluid Specialists to join their team on a two-year fixed term contract. You will be part of a top performing global pool of Formate Fluid Specialists and may be deployed anywhere in the world to support the successful and safe delivery and/or backloading of our chemicals, equipment or whole mud/brine systems. You will provide support to our customers in the use of our fluids and measure and maintain fluid properties to program specification.
You will monitor the chemical inventory offshore and maintain an adequate stock level within agreed maximum / minimum levels and ensuring that product is stored in a safe manner, with full environmental compliance. You will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of the fluid, collecting all required data for the production of end of well reports in the required format and reporting of data for analysis and review.
Looking for an individual who is enthusiastic and driven with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. You will be an excellent team player with the ability to remain calm when working under pressure with conflicting priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential as well as strong computer skills. Must work to applicable SH&E standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong demonstrable background of mud engineering with evidence of working with HPHT wells, as well as formate reservoir drill-in fluids & completion brines. Someone from the Mud Engineer side of things and ideally with Formate experience.
