TMM Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-known Energy Service business with a permanent Personnel Logistics Coordinator vacancy. This well-rounded, hands-on position will manage crew movements for two vessels, as well as controlling training records and providing payroll information. Ideal applicants will have experience in a similar offshore-focused position, with strong systems and Microsoft Excel proficiency. Quick availability is advantageous!

   

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Providing travel and logistics support for designated vessels.
  • Booking scheduled and unscheduled/ad-hoc changes to crew travel.
  • Raising, receipting and approving the filing of POs/invoices as required.
  • Keeping a daily tracking spreadsheets of crew changes and personnel movements for all personnel on the vessel including contractors.
  • Dealing with any visa requirements for personnel working in overseas locations.
  • Ensuring all personnel have necessary inoculations and medicines when working in overseas locations.
  • Point of contact for all third-party contractors with regards to crew change arrangements.
  • Ensuring accuracy of all records.
  • Any other general administration relating to the company’s Logistics function.
  • Checking all personnel are clear to travel with necessary Training as per company matrix.
  • Recording and filing expenses throughout the month for payroll purposes, as per HR procedure and process.
  • Completing monthly Offshore Time Entry into system and ensuring accuracy against vessel timesheets.
  • Raising POs as required.
  • Acting as HR on-call within department rotation.

        

Applicants to this role require

  • Demonstrable experience within the offshore industry, in a people-focused role.
  • Personnel Logistics/crewing experience.
  • Training compliance experience (desirable).
  • Strong IT proficiency, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Adaptability, attention to detail, excellent multitasking skills and experience.

           

Additional information

  • This full-time role will be fully office-based, with flexibility regarding start / finish times and the opportunity to opt-in to a compressed working week, leading to lunchtime finishes on a Friday.
