Assistant Accountant - VR/21415
Thorpe Molloy McCulloch are supporting a market leading independent motor factoring company, who are recruiting for an experienced Assistant Accountant. This is a permanent full-time role; you should have experience within a similar role. This role will be based in Aberdeen’s City Centre and will report into the Accountant and Financial Controller.
Main duties and responsibilities
- General Ledger responsibilities; preparing, processing journal entries.
- Maintaining the balance sheet.
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Reporting financial and statistical information to government departments.
Applicants to this role require
- Strong knowledge of Excel.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communicator.
- Time management skills.
- Previous experience within similar role.
