Economist - VR/20928
The Economist will be required to play an integral role in providing asset economics and analytical support to an independent oil and gas company. This permanent role, situated in Aberdeen City Centre would favour those with 5 or more years in an upstream oil and gas environment, specifically those with analysis or modelling experience.
Reporting into the Corporate Finance Manager, the Economist will be responsible for the following:
- Performing modelling for annual business planning.
- Liaising with operational stakeholders to evaluate and present asset updates for management review.
- Providing modelling support for operational teams, such as AFE approvals, reserves reporting.
- Supporting broader Finance Team in preparation of periodic asset life cycle.
- Providing modelling and analytical support for business development.
This role will suit those with 5+ years of upstream oil and gas experience in a business planning, analysis or modelling environment. Knowledge of upstream economic packages would be advantageous.
