Temporary opportunity available to join one of the world largest oil services companies on an initial 12-month temporary basis. The FP&A Operations Lead will have responsibility for the financial performance of the subsea services business in the UK. Reporting to the Europe Region Finance Lead, you will help drive visibility, reporting and process improvements.

     

Supporting key stakeholders both internally and externally, the key responsibilities are:

    

  • Driving financial metrics, controlling business performance and providing actionable financial analysis to improve the business position.
  • Acting as a business partner to the operating team to drive business initiatives, growth, and profitability.
  • Liaising with Cash Teams to improve cash flows, focusing on collections, past dues, inventory and Capex.
    Developing estimates, operating plans, forecasts, reviews on a quarterly rhythm for long-term and shorter-term cycle.
  • Developing and improving financial policies and procedures applicable across the business.
  • Ensuring controllership and consistency of accounting process across the operations, driving controllership awareness and processes through operations teams and ensuring finance compliance.
  • Leading and participating in simplification projects and upgrades of systems that strengthen controls and improve analytics.
  • Supporting long term and short term business decisions by providing analysis and data

This position would suit an experienced finance professional who has the ability to influence across business functions. Strong interpersonal skills are a must, along with the ability to communicate and disseminate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
