Analyst required for an Oil and Gas consultancy firm based in Aberdeen City Centre. Specialising in the market analysis of data and subsequent reporting of global exploration and appraisal performance, this role offers wider exposure to the E&P market. Providing unique technical and commercial insight you will be heavily involved in analytics, modelling and research. With ongoing growth, this small and innovative consultancy would afford you real insight into global exploration and appraisal operations.

The Global E&A Analyst will hold responsibility for the following:

  • Interpreting E&P company information to formalise insights.
  • Researching and summarising operational news flow from E&P companies.
  • Researching and subsequent analysis of E&P data with respect of on-going projects.
  • Maintaining database through daily updates of well data and commentary.
  • Identifying current events of significance in the E&P sector, documenting said information for reports.
  • Contributing to the design and future development of the database.

You should hold excellent and well-rounded analytical skills, as well as a good understanding of the oil and gas industry. You should be able to communicate effectively and be able to fit seamlessly into the existing team dynamic given the size of the company. Ideally, you should have 2-5 years exposure in the E&P industry, whilst proficiency with a range of Microsoft packages is essential. It is recommended that you hold a Degree in a relative subject.
