Currently recruiting for an experienced HSE Advisor on a permanent staff basis for an Oil and Gas Service Company in Aberdeen. This role is based out of their office in Aberdeen, however, there may also be opportunities to visit onshore sites and projects across the UK as and when required.

    

The HSE Advisor will support the 10 Business Lines and the large onsite base in Aberdeen. The role is an excellent career opportunity for someone looking for a varied workload, with the opportunity to work across various sectors including O&G, Energy, Infrastructure, Nuclear and Construction.

     

The HSE Advisor will have the following main duties and responsibilities:

  • Providing HSE functional support to the business.
  • Supporting client audits.
  • Taking an active role in internal HSE Committees.
  • Providing monthly and quarterly HSE reports.
  • Supporting the company’s HSE initiatives including behavioural safety.
  • Carrying out trend analysis.
  • Coordinating the HSE surveillance process, including noise, display screens and HAVS etc.
  • Supporting the business units in the achievement of HSE objectives.
  • Supporting the delivery of the Region HSE plan.
  • Conducting investigations should they be required.

    

Experience/Qualifications:

  • The successful applicant will be expected to be educated to HNC level or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be expected to hold NEBOSH and IOSH Managing Safety certification.
  • An Internal Auditor qualification with an IRCA registered training program is essential.
  • Applicants will be expected to be Root Cause Analysis trained.
  • Experience within a similar HSE Advisor role within an oil and gas service company environment is essential.
