Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supporting the business with local and international freight forwarding requirements.
• Liaising with the Sales and Proposal Departments to ensure all paperwork and documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Creating and maintaining good quality relationships with freight forwarders.
• Establishing the most cost-efficient way of carrying out all logistical activities.
• Ensuring the business is complying with legal regulations, in-line with HSE standards and guidelines.
• Taking appropriate action to amend any breach of HSE standards and rules.
• Displaying and maintaining commitment to QHSE policies.
• Ensuring the accurate reporting of any accidents and incidents that take place.
• Maintaining good time management and prioritising workloads effectively to reach company objectives and targets.
• Organising and maintaining essential paper and electronic documents.
• Coordinating and planning local collections and deliveries.
• Verifying all relevant certification is present when needed.

Applicants to this position should have experience in multi-modal freight forwarding, UK customs and transit documentation. Experience within the oil and gas industry would also be beneficial, as would negotiation and communication skills.
