Procurement Assistant - VR/21473
Procurement Assistant required to join an organisation specialising in technology services and solutions for the Oil and Gas industry. This is a permanent position, based in the Dyce area of Aberdeen.
As Procurement Assistant, you will primarily provide all-round support to the Procurement Department with requesting quotations, raising POs and other general administrative tasks.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Promptly processing requisitions and raising purchase orders; ensuring these are delivered on time.
- Ensuring the company is assured of the best possible service at the most cost-effective rates.
- Liaising with suppliers to improve cost-efficiencies and reduce purchase costs.
- Ensuring all supplier invoices are correct as per the PO.
- Amending POs as necessary.
Applicants to this position will ideally offer experience in a similar position, preferably with knowledge of an ERP / Purchasing system. It is essential that you are familiar with all Microsoft Office applications.
