Opportunity to work for an Oil Major based in Westhill. As Senior Financial Accountant you will undertake all corporate financial activity, produce statutory accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This is a temporary role initially through to November 2020, however would be subject to annual review.
Reporting to the Lead Financial Accountant, main duties are:
- Reporting of all corporate financial activity of the upstream legal entities, along with the consolidated reporting for the holding company.
- Ensuring that all reporting complies with legal and group accounting standards.
- Producing UK IFRS statutory accounts and obtain audit clearance from external auditors.
- Ensuring that the financial ledgers are properly maintained and reconciled including management and control of quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Producing reports for audit back up and tax.
- Ensuing compliance with UK and IFRS accounting standards.
- SOX controls and provide evidence where required.
This role would suit a fully qualified Accountant with strong knowledge of UK and US IFRS.
