We are working on opportunities for a permanent Senior Cost Controller and Cost Controller roles based in Westhill. These full-time positions involve supporting project managers with financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, SAP and Excel proficiency, and a proactive approach.

     

  • Actual cost of work performed analysis, forecasting and commitment tracking of man hours, procurement, fabrication and vessel operations.
  • Ensuring accounting systems accurately reflects project costs and revenues to date, including any accruals or prepayments.
  • Assisting the Project Managers in the preparation of monthly project and financial forecasts.
  • Assisting the Project Manager in the preparation of a monthly financial sensitivity analysis.
  • Analysing variances from as-bid financials by building a detailed and informative monthly analysis of variances from prior forecast.
  • Preparing month end project reports and review with Project Manager.
  • Attending project/client meetings and providing relevant cost and financial input as required.
  • Preparing and overseeing the preparation and issuance of project invoices and maintain focus on the collection of receivables and DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) KPI.
  • Preparing project cash flows in support of the group's treasury requirements for cash flow forecasting. This will include short term and long-term cash forecasting.
  • Developing effective interfaces with the Project Team and support functions and contributing to improvement programs; building/enhancing relationships with Project Managers to ensure communication and flow of information is effective; working with Project Managers to develop and improve reporting tools/systems and making recommendations to improve/enhance existing processes.
