TMM Recruitment is working with a renowned oil and gas exploration and production company operating in the North Sea to source a Systems Analyst. The Systems Analyst will be responsible for data input of employee and contractor records in the HRIS system while ensuring that the accuracy of this data meets company standards. The right candidate will have experience in using IT systems and will possess knowledge in the administration of computer databases such as mPower.

          

Position Overview

Acting as the company focal point and subject matter expert for all HR related systems, predominantly the HRIS and Timewriting systems, supporting with queries and ensuring best practice.

           

Accountabilities

  • Administering and managing all aspects of the HRIS system ensuring accuracy of data input.
  • Administering and managing the mPower database and associated modules, including the control of access rights and license admin, the creation of user profiles and the maintenance of all master data.
  • Providing support to the team and organisation for other HR related systems including but not limited to SLAM, Lazerfiche and PowerBi.

               

Key Duties

  • Responsible for data inputting and updating employee and contractor records in the HRIS system (PeopleNet) throughout the employee life cycle, including joiners, movers and leavers updates.
  • Responsible for accuracy of data, ensuring records are maintained and up to date within the HRIS which are subsequently used for monthly payroll processing.
  • Actively supporting the manpower / headcount control system (SLAM) and transferring data to HRIS for use with recruitment support activities.
  • Overseeing the execution of daily / weekly / monthly Timewriting processes ensuring that data import and export routines between Vantage / Maximo and SAP databases are operating effectively.
  • Ensuring the accurate and timely input of hours to mPower by the Timewriting community whilst ensuring adherence with all period closing times and dates.
  • Controlling mPower system user access and setting-up and controlling license allocation.
  • Ensuring daily imports of work orders from Maximo into MPower, including error corrections as necessary.
  • Regularly auditing systems and facilitating associated data and processing updates as appropriate.
  • Supporting the HR Team and the organisation by addressing systems related queries.
  • Preparing and delivering system user training, as required.
  • Supporting line manager with vendor liaison on relevant technical and system performance issues.
  • Facilitating the quarterly HRIS system updates, managing and communicating change as appropriate.
  • Acting as system support (alongside E&ER Advisor) for the annual employee survey (Peakon).
  • Supporting other systems related activities and any systems replacement projects and analysis.
  • Responsible for monthly organisation chart updates and publication on the intranet site.
  • Raising relevant paperwork and iRex in Maximo for purchase orders as and when required.
  • Proactively participating in HR-wide initiative and projects.
  • Participating as a member of the Human Resources Emergency Response Team.

           

Education Attainment & Accreditation

  • Systems / information technology qualification or relevant experience essential.

              

Professional Skills & Experience

  • A business professional with experience of using information technology systems and HRIS specifically.
  • Experience in the use and administration of computer databases, preferably mPower.
  • Experience of an administration role in an oil and gas production / maintenance environment an advantage.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and experience in analysing and interpreting data.
  • A learning orientation including a continual improvement, problem-solving and solutions focused mindset.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
