As Contracts Specialist, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Tendering, negotiating, awarding and managing all contracts and major POs.
• Providing commercial and contractual advised to internal departments and Project Teams.
• Liaising with Project Managers / Engineers prior to negotiation and execution of variation orders with contractors.
• Flagging commercial and contractual risks / issues and working towards a solution.
• Assisting Team Lead in identifying and implementing business improvements.
• Reviewing and updating the Procurement Register.
• Analysing commodity spend, market and analysis and sourcing strategies.
• Claims management.
• Supplier management activities.

Applicants to this role should offer the following:

• Extensive experience in a similar role, with excellent commercial awareness and knowledge of supply chain processes.
• A degree qualification in a relevant field, or equivalent Supply Chain qualification.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
• Availability to start in November if successful.
