About Us

Recruitment Best Practice

We have summarised the key points you should expect from working with us and indeed any recruitment agency that is a member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC).

Our customers achieve the best outcomes through working with us on an exclusive basis however, if you choose to be represented by other agencies it is vital that you have a clear understanding of recruitment best practice.

Job Seekers

  • Clear information

Always aim to let you know who our clients are (in exceptional circumstances, confidentiality may dictate otherwise). We want you to be fully informed of who the prospective employer is.

  • Detail

Provide all the information we have on an individual role and, wherever possible, a full job description, location and salary guide.

  • Communication

Set realistic progress timeframes and although delays will sometimes occur, and be out of our control, we realise the need to keep you regularly appraised.

  • Consent

Never submit your details to an employer without your consent. We will act responsibly and professionally with your information and respect your confidentiality as an applicant.

  • Feedback

Share with you feedback, where received, on your applications. We appreciate that you want to know your individual progress report.

  • Control

It is vital that you retain control of where your CV is sent and always ensure that your application is never duplicated by another agency. Duplication can have significant consequences for your application and at best provides a poor initial impression to an employer.

Employers

  • Clear information

Represent your business and specific job roles by sharing accurate and unambiguous information with prospective applicants.

  • Detail

Document the stages of every recruitment assignment in line with relevant legislation and good practice. Business terms will be fully disclosed prior to any work being undertaken with you.

  • Communication

Regular communication throughout each assignment with your designated recruitment consultant. All our candidate CVs contain a recruiter narrative which is written after screening and checks are complete.

  • Consent

Observe the highest professional ethics to maintain confidentiality. We respect when sensitivities do not allow for certain information to be disclosed and will work with you to agree a tailored approach.

  • Feedback

Provide constructive guidance on all stages of the recruitment process, including offer management, and request your feedback on the quality of our service delivery.

  • Control

Adhere to all applicable employment laws and regulations, treating others without prejudice or discrimination, and where necessary, provide guidance on good diversity practice. We will ensure our team is trained to undertake their responsibilities in recruitment practice.
