The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Preparing the audit file and reporting for designated legal entities in compliance with local GAAP/IFRS for external and statutory reporting purposes
• Interacting with external auditors during the audit of statutory accounts
• Preparing information for tax department to support annual tax filings
• Maintaining and reviewing statutory books
• Performing monthly/quarterly allocations in the management books
• Performing monthly review of management accounting
• Performing quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with local tax filings and reconciliations including VAT

Applicants to this role require a minimum of 4 years industry accounting experience and should ideally have prior exposure to the preparation of financial statements. You should also be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and be able to perform pivot tables and v look-ups.
