Accounts Assistant - VR/29077

Our client based to the south of the city is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This is a varied role across both their Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. The successful candidate will have existing experience in a similar role.

     

Key duties include but are not limited to:

  • Matching purchase invoices, verifying amounts, currencies, and supplier names.
  • Recording purchase invoices accurately.
  • Facilitating investigations and resolution processes post-reconciliation ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Handling reconciliation of discrepancies, collaborating with other entities to resolve issues.
  • Addressing supplier payment queries and escalating issues to the direct manager when necessary.
  • Managing payment allocation responsibilities.
  • Providing support to the Finance and Administration Team as needed.
