We are looking to recruit a CNC Programmer on behalf of our manufacturing client based in Aberdeen. The successful candidate should be a time served machinist with milling experience - ideally using Fanuc & Heidenhain controls. Experience using either Autodesk Power Mill 2021, Autodesk Feature CAM 2021, Cimco and TNCremo would be preferred. For more information please get in touch.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Creating NC programs for Vertical Lathes with Fanuc, Sinumeric, G&L Numeripath controls.
- Creating set up sheets, bonding drawings, simple technical drawings, layouts etc.
- Uploading NC programs via network, RS232, floppy, USB
- Assisting with calculation of machining enquiries (raw material, machining time, lead time etc.) when asked to do so.
- Raising purchase requisition request to cover (tools, inserts, machine shop equipment, repairs) as required.
- The job holder will create programs in line with the department weekly plan.
