Events & Admin Assistant - VR/30208

TMM are looking for candidates available at short notice for a temporary Events Assistant Assignment. This role will be solely office based on a part-time basis for 1-2 months. Previous experience as an Events Assistant from a similar background would be essential.

     

The main purpose of this role is as follows:

  • Responding to sales enquiries.
  • Proactively selling the venue to new clients.
  • Efficient enquiry handling to ensure effective conversion rate.
  • Supporting the Events Coordinator with all admin tasks as requested.

      

The key responsibilities are:

  • Managing enquiries promptly ensuring they receive all the relevant information and prepare competitive proposals.
  • Following up all sales enquiries and leads promptly.
  • Making follow up calls to conferences/corporate events after the date to gather feedback and secure future business.
  • Preparing contracts and proposals ensuring policies.
  • Making appointments for potential clients for show rounds.
  • Ensuring accuracy of all function sheets and meal plans distribute in a timely manner any changes made should also be distributed in a timely manner.

      

Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Outlook, Word and Excel needed and sound knowledge of hotel operating systems, preferably Rezlynx.
