Events & Admin Assistant - VR/30208
TMM are looking for candidates available at short notice for a temporary Events Assistant Assignment. This role will be solely office based on a part-time basis for 1-2 months. Previous experience as an Events Assistant from a similar background would be essential.
The main purpose of this role is as follows:
- Responding to sales enquiries.
- Proactively selling the venue to new clients.
- Efficient enquiry handling to ensure effective conversion rate.
- Supporting the Events Coordinator with all admin tasks as requested.
The key responsibilities are:
- Managing enquiries promptly ensuring they receive all the relevant information and prepare competitive proposals.
- Following up all sales enquiries and leads promptly.
- Making follow up calls to conferences/corporate events after the date to gather feedback and secure future business.
- Preparing contracts and proposals ensuring policies.
- Making appointments for potential clients for show rounds.
- Ensuring accuracy of all function sheets and meal plans distribute in a timely manner any changes made should also be distributed in a timely manner.
Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Outlook, Word and Excel needed and sound knowledge of hotel operating systems, preferably Rezlynx.
