Finance Administrator - VR/29726
TMM are Clan’s exclusive recruitment partners, supporting with the appointment of a Finance Administrator. This permanent role is based within Clan House on Westburn Road, Aberdeen. This role is 21 hours per week and reports to the Finance Manager. If successful, you will be tasked with recording income, processing purchase invoices and assisting with preparing payroll information. Job Purpose:
The Finance Department is responsible for providing financial support throughout the organisation. This ensures the effective operation of the company and compliance with various legal and statutory responsibilities. The department also safeguards the assets and cash held by the company through ensuring effective financial controls are in place and applied and through effective budget models.
Finance Administrators Key Roles:
- Recording of income.
- Processing purchase invoices.
- Processing of credit card purchase.
- Assist with preparing and processing of monthly payment run.
- Prepare payroll Information for payroll providers.
- Provide ad hoc support to Finance Manager or Accounts Assistant.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- Counting, recording and processing all income received in a timely manner.
- Matching purchase orders, invoices and posting purchase invoices onto Sage.
- Process and replenish the petty cash.
- Administer event floats.
- Collating time sheets for submission to payroll provider.
- Assisting with the annual audit process by liaising with and answering any queries the Auditors have and providing timely information.
- Assisting the Finance Manager or Finance Assistant with any project work required.
- Other ad hoc duties as they arise.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong IT knowledge.
- Confidence using spreadsheets and accounting packages.
- Ability to priorities.
- Excellent communication, written and verbal.
- Ensure a high standard of work.
