The Finance Team at TMM Recruitment is currently working on 2 Finance Assistant positions for a Scottish charity. These are available on either a fixed term contract of permanent basis and will initially be remote working based, before transitioning to Aberdeen City Centre when restrictions permit.

     

Finance Assistant – this role is more generic and will see you cover a number of finance related tasks including but not limited to: assisting in the preparation of management accounts, ensuring invoices are matched, coded and processed correctly, posting transactions on the ledger and maintaining correct financial information for audit purposes.

    

Finance Assistant (Banking) – this role is more focussed on the bank accounts for services, supporting transactions and looking after the cash position. Your role will also centre around the accounts payable function.

    

In both roles, you should possess acute attention to detail, be experienced in dealing with high volume invoicing and approach work with a positive, can-do attitude. Additionally, you will be able to communicate effectively with your peers and work in both a collaborative and individual manner.

    

Past experience of working in the third sector would be advantageous.
