Office Administrator – Part-Time - VR/23486
Located in Aberdeen City Centre. The role of Office Administrator has arisen to support a busy team. This role will operate with a working pattern of 30 hours spread over 5 days. Candidates must be available to start at 8.30am. This role will initially be temporary with a view to transpire to a permanent position. Duties are varied however a real focus on virtual meeting set up and IT proficiency is an area where previous experience is required.
It is the purpose of this role to support the team with reception cover, administration support and assisting the Office Manager with the general day to day running of the busy office.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail and booking couriers.
- Ordering stationery.
- Diary management – ensuring IT set up and logistics run smoothly for both virtual and in person meetings.
- Maintaining the electronic meeting room diary.
- Preparing board packs.
- Car park booking.
- Meeting and greeting visitors.
- Ad-hoc duties as required.
You will require:
- Previous practical experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated and an ability to act on your own initiative.
- Discrete and able to handle highly confidential information.
- Experience with SharePoint and Office 365.
- Able to comfortably set up virtual meetings and deal with any IT issues independently.
Working pattern:
- Working 30 hours, over 5 days – Monday – Friday.
- 8.30am start would be a requirement of the role.
- Finish time can be flexible.
- Initially a temporary contract with a view to go permanent.
- Parking is available.
