Senior Finance Coordinator - VR/29842
Our client based in Northwest Aberdeenshire is looking for a Senior Finance Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. This role involves a varied range of responsibilities across management and project accounting, financial analysis, compliance, systems and payroll.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparing, reporting and analysing of monthly accounts and other financial information at the level of projects, divisions and statutory entities.
- Reviewing and considering drivers of monthly performance, including ensuring that costings and allocations are appropriate.
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis with back-up schedules.
- Providing support to the Management Accountant which will include maintaining accounting system.
- Facilitating timely financial reporting.
- Fostering good relationships within the Finance Team and with other parts of the business.
- Coaching, developing and challenging junior members of the team to continue professional development.
- Liaising with HR to facilitate the collation and review of payroll inputs and submission to the external payroll provider.
- Supporting initiatives and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and quality.
Applicants to this role require previous experience in a similar role and strong organisation, time management and IT skills.
