As Supply Chain Purchasing Supervisor, you be responsible for providing support to the Supply Chain Manager in regard to the purchasing of goods and services.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Sourcing and purchasing materials and equipment in accordance with the company approved vendor listing.
• Assisting other departments in the processing of queries or discrepancies relating to vendor invoices.
• Supervising the daily purchasing activities in the Purchasing Department.
• Assisting operations in all matters relating to the purchase of materials, services and equipment for all areas that report to this office.
• Co-ordinating as necessary shipyard project materials.
• Assisting Operations Managers in identifying and reducing high-cost areas.
• Participating in duty rota.
• Identifying non-conformances and liaising with suppliers regarding this.
• Assisting the Supply Chain Manager in Vendor Performance Monitoring.
• Assisting with ORACLE training within the Purchasing Group.
• Supervising the daily purchasing activities.
• Developing and implementing cost savings for the group.
