TMM Recruitment is supporting our client with the appointment of a permanent Accounting Supervisor. This will be a varied role in which you will be involved in the preparation of management accounts, budget analysis and cashflow forecasting. Applicants must be qualified and have experience within a similar role.
Duties and Responsibilities include
- Monthly management accounts – preparing and all reporting.
- Fixed asset register.
- Finance spreadsheets – maintaining these and ensuring all up to date.
- Credit control.
- Cashflow forecasting.
- Budget analysis.
- Quarterly Vat returns / reconciliations.
- Assessing risks and making recommendations on budgeting and financial business matters.
- Processing stock takes in Sage Accounts, monthly and annually (including adding any new stock items),
- Insurance claims.
- Tax renewals.
- Managing company finance functions, in compliance for audits.
- Providing support and deputising for finance staff during periods of annual leave.
- Coaching employees on best practices for handling finance and accounting issues and handling daily issues and tasks.
- Staff supervision.
