The role is working for a long established and accredited training company on a full-time permanent basis as an Electrical Installation Tutor out of their Aberdeen based centre.

The role will include the delivery of Electrical Installation SVQs at all levels.

Experience training or teaching previously would be desirable however if you are a time served Electrician want to move into the education and training, do get in contact as the company has a great record for developing Electricians with no experience in the classroom into competent and confident trainers.

Applicants will need to be an Approved Electrician.

We are looking for an Approved Electrician to step into an Instructor role at their long-established engineering training centre. The company delivers high quality training to nationally recognised standards and is an accredited centre through SQA, SEMTA. EAL, City & Guilds, ECITB and SummitSkills.

They have extensive training workshop facilities specialising in electrical engineering and installation, electronics, welding / fabrication, mechanical engineering, machining manufacture, and under building services; air conditioning and refrigeration, plumbing and heating and ventilating. In addition to national training programmes they offer a wide variety of short courses.

All the training will be delivered at their base in Aberdeen, accommodation facilities are on offer if you are not local.

Although holding a grading card is beneficial, they are more than happy to accept applications from good approved electricians willing to be put through the relevant courses. This permanent job offers great career progression up to a Senior lecture role.
