Maintenance Manager - VR/28363
We are currently on the lookout for a Maintenance Manager who will be in charge of a team of Maintenance Technicians. The ideal candidate will be a time served Mechanic, and someone with a plant/agricultural background/experience would be an advantage.
MT Manager (Maintenance Manager).
37.5 hour week (0800-1600 Monday to Friday) with occasional weekend call out.
Experience and the ability to lead a team is essential.
The candidate will participate in the weekly operational management meetings and be a strong problem solver.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing maintenance tasks, oil changes battery installations and lights.
- Maintaining a working knowledge of current industry best practices and repairs.
- Conducting diagnostic procedures and provide accurate repair recommendations.
- Maintaining legible and accurate paperwork for company records.
- Making sure all GSE is properly maintained and service schedule is implemented.
- Strong communications and analytical skills.
- Knowledge in all process compliant areas.
- Ordering parts and stock control.
- Regularly liaising with department heads.
- Cleaning and maintaining the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
