Mechanical Tool Technician (Recently Time Served) - VR/25521
We are currently looking for a Mechanical Tool Technician who has recently finished an apprenticeship - with a couple of years workshop experience, preferably in an oil tools / equipment related environment. We are looking for someone educated in a mechanical discipline to HNC level or above, and ideally someone that has experience in handling large and heavy oil tools / equipment.
Reporting directly to the Workshop Supervisor, the candidate will be responsible for assembling and maintaining various types of oil tools and equipment within the workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing and maintaining oil tools / equipment in accordance with maintenance manuals and procedures.
- Preparing tools for shipment offshore in accordance with work orders and procedures.
- Preparing offshore check lists for tools.
- Maintaining and housekeeping workshop.
- Preparing necessary job reports and documentation for all tool installations and offshore activities.
- Various types of project work.
