Norwegian Assistant - VR/15183
Our client requires a Norwegian Assistant to work within their Tax Department. Candidates must be fluent in Norwegian, but no previous experience is required and full training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following duties:
- Running shadow payrolls tracking clients’ employees tax liabilities to Norway and other countries.
- Liaising with UK Payroll Team regarding offsetting international tax against UK tax.
- Ensuring clients are fulfilling reporting obligations to Norway and Denmark.
- Maintaining team knowledge of Norwegian payroll software used for reporting purposes.
- Liaising with Norwegian Tax Authorities regarding client’s withholding tax, ongoing appeals, tax settlements and so forth.
- Staying informed on relevant regulation changes in Norway regarding tax and reporting.
