Senior HR Advisor - VR/29419

Maternity cover assignment for an impressive Energy Service business on the north-side of Aberdeen. Commencing in summer 2024, the role is best suited to an experienced Advisor ready to step up to the next level and provide strategic input on top of an operational workload.

     

Overview:

Working closely with an excellent HR Leadership Team, the Senior HR Advisor will provide proactive and reactive HR solutions to a sizeable pool of employees and contractors.

      

You will support and coach Managers to comply with relevant company policies and UK employment legislation, and to enhance the employee experience throughout the business.

      

Assisted by Coordinators and Administrators, the Senior HR Advisor will manage Employee Relations casework and lead Recruitment processes, as well as contributing to the annual Reward cycle and ad-hoc HR project work.

      

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining fit-for-purpose HR policies for the business.
  • Leading performance management, disciplinary/grievance, absence management and redundancy processes.
  • Managing resourcing campaigns, dealing with internal hiring managers and PSL recruitment agencies.
  • Supporting talent management, succession planning and learning and development activities.
  • Contributing to salary/benefits, reviewing cycles and enhance D&I across the business.
  • Producing and presenting periodic HR reports for the Leadership Team.
  • Mentoring and upskilling junior colleagues.
  • Leading HR projects.

      

Applicants to this role require:

  • Associating CIPD membership, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrating experience at HR Advisor level, ideally within the Energy industry.
  • Problem-solving, process-improving skills.
  • Ability to build productive and positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Availability to commit to a 1yr+ assignment commencing in Summer 2024.
