12-15-month maternity cover opportunity for an Accountant based in the city centre within the shipping industry. Previous experience within a similar role is essential with at least 3-5 years’ experience. Qualified, Part Qualified and candidates qualified by experience will be considered.
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, your role will involve
- Weekly payroll using Sage 50 Payroll.
- Management of accounts for various company entities. Sage 50 Accounts used.
- Journal entries
- Trial balance, management accounts preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Banking.
- Updating operations database with costings and running monthly reports.
- Miscellaneous accounts administration work such as completing ONS statistics returns.
