Become a part of a dedicated team by taking on the role of Assistant Corporate Secretary with a prominent organisation in the offshore sector. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Corporate Secretary and aide adherence to Corporate Governance Principles. Primarily, the Assistant Corporate Secretary has responsibility for filing internal legal documents and delivering exceptional customer service to clients.

Within in this role, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service to clients and support the needs and workload of the Corporate Secretary.

    

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Corporate Secretary, to ensure well-timed submission of quality documentation to the Board of Directors (BoD).
  • Overseeing UK subsidiary Board meetings, taking minutes and actions.
  • Ensuring prompt filing and following up actions are taken for relevant board documentation.
  • Supporting with the creation of the company’s annual reports.
  • Managing companies house filings and maintaining UK statutory registers.
  • Assisting the Insider Trading Officer with their duties, including maintenance of insider lists.
  • Ensuring the corporate database is accurate and kept up to date.
  • Maintaining relevant corporate information and announcements on the company websites.

    

Qualification, Skills and Experience:

  • Degree preferable.
  • Legal qualifications desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Strong communicator.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Team-player and active contributor.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and prioritise workload.
