Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Sourcing and purchasing all goods and equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Assisting departments in the processing of queries or discrepancies relating to vendor invoices.
• Assisting operations in all matters relating to the purchase of materials, services and equipment for all areas that report to this office.
• Organising all purchasing and required documentation.
• Co-ordinating as necessary shipyard project materials.
• Assisting Operations Managers in identifying and reducing high-cost areas.
• Participating in duty rota.
• Providing purchasing/costs report to Materials Manager when requested.
• Working as an integral part of a team.
• Identifying Non-conformances and liaising with suppliers regarding this.
• Assisting the Supply Chain Manager in vendor performance monitoring.
