Permanent opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join a loyal team in Aberdeen within an offshore-focused SME. This very visible and well-rounded Generalist role is best suited to CIPD-qualified, forward-thinking applicants with experience supporting an offshore workforce.

    

The new HR Advisor will support a defined offshore client group with end-to-end Generalist HR activities, including recruitment, talent management, employee relations, reward, and organisational development.

     

Working as part of a small team, the role reports into an excellent UK HR Manager and has the shared support of an experienced Coordinator.

      

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Developing company HR policies and processes, utilising prior knowledge and experience to suggest and implement improvements wherever required.
  • Building productive relationships with assigned managers, proactively maintaining an awareness of upcoming hiring needs and areas of risk.
  • Managing employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance management).
  • Leading recruitment activity for assigned business area(s), utilising company ATS and external resourcing agencies as required.
  • Involvement in annual reward cycles, providing relevant input taken from local market conditions, benefits brokers, and salary surveys.
  • Producing period HR and payroll reports and maintaining relevant areas of company’s HRIS.
  • Partaking in planned and reactive HR projects.

       

Applicants to this role require

  • Associate CIPD membership, or equivalent HR qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience of providing business-facing HR support to an offshore workforce.
  • Working knowledge of UK employment legislation.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Systems (HRIS) proficiency.
