Reporting to the HSSE Manager and being a part of the Operational Integrity Team, as a HSSE Engineer, you will have the following main duties and responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining HSSE procedures.
• Participating in incident investigations, review incident reports and assisting in identifying root causes.
• Reviewing observation cards and develop internal HSE Alerts.
• Maintaining and advising on all regulatory compliance requirements.
• Participating in HAZIDs, HAZOPs and safety studies.
• Recording and reporting safety and environmental data.
• Representing the company with consultants, authorities and clients on HSSE matters when required.
• Assisting in initiatives towards enhancement and implementation of a proactive Safety Culture.
• Overseeing Emergency Response Management planning, training and exercises.
• Providing cover for Offshore HSE Supt position as required (5th week rotation).

Experience/Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical, Environmental, Technical, Marine or Process Engineering.
• Formal qualifications in health and safety management.
• Relevant experience may replace formal qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the offshore FPSO industry would be preferred.
