Permanent vacancy for a Ledger Controller with international services company. Candidates will ideally hold a professional accountancy qualification and have experience working in an engineering or manufacturing company.
Overview job description
As a Ledger Controller, the primary responsibility is to take ownership of the accurate and timely reporting of financial information from one of the largest manufacturing ledgers in the UK business. Supported by others in the team, this responsibility includes a fully reconciled balance sheet and fulfilling the SOX reporting obligations for these ledgers. This involves excellent time management and priority setting skills to ensure deadlines are met.
You will be working to tight deadlines and will maintain appropriate financial controls in line with company, SOX, and UK GAAP requirements.
The role will provide support to the local Management Team as required.
You should be a detail-oriented person with excellent oral and written communication skills and be keen to take on fresh challenges. This role will provide many opportunities to develop your technical and interpersonal skills as well as expand your knowledge of company systems and policies.
