Duties and responsibilities:

• Developing Logistics models in support of Global activities / requirements / customs legislation.
• Being responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of declarations for items such as dangerous or licensable goods.
• Accurately maintaining records and keeping files for any goods that are bonded / require customs clearance.
• Being the contact point for various Freight & Logistics third parties.
• Issuing documents and procedures to support tender deliverable related to SCM Logistics / Freight activities.
• Effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders in relation to the Freight & Logistics activities.
• Supporting the shipment of material and equipment from global locations to nominated vessels / worksites.
• Managing each shipping file including issuance of work orders, commercial invoices, verification of shipping documents and supplier invoices.
• Ensuring all services are performed by nominated subcontractors as per the work orders.
• Ensuring all tools and systems are updated with shipping status and relevant documentation.
• Ensuring regular communication with Logistics personnel in the region where project is executed.
• Complying with customs and local laws at origin and destination locations.

Applicants to this position should offer the following:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Relevant knowledge of Logistics on global projects.
• Knowledge of SAP / SAP Ariba.

The successful candidate should also have excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively under pressure and the ability to complete tasks when held to tight deadlines.
