M365 Specialist - VR/29845

Our client is looking for a passionate Microsoft 365 Specialist to join their team on a full-time basis in Westhill. You will leverage MS365 tools and services such as SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Azure and Power Platform to develop and implement solutions to improve the MS365 Platform.

     

The M365 Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and guidance to the users of the M365 platform, with a focus on supporting B2B guest users. The specialist will also assist in the development and implementation of solutions that leverage the M365 tools and services, such as SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, and Azure. The successful candidate will work closely with the M365 Solutions Manager, the M365 Solutions Team, and the wider IT Department to ensure the optimal performance and security of the M365 environment.

    

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Providing timely and effective support to M365 users, especially external customers and partners, on issues related to access, functionality, and collaboration.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation and training materials for M365 users, including best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting the M365 platform, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, and other integrations, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Assisting in the development and deployment of solutions that enhance the M365 platform, such as workflows, forms, web parts, apps, and integrations.
  • Participating in the testing and evaluation of new M365 features and updates and providing feedback and recommendations.
  • Contributing to the governance and security of the M365 platform and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

     

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Higher education certification in Computing related course (HND, BSC etc.) or relevant experience.
  • Relevant Microsoft certification in M365 and other related technologies (Azure, .NET, etc.) is desirable.
  • Proven experience in supporting and developing solutions on the M365 platform, especially SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Power Platform.
  • Experience in working with Azure and other cloud services is advantageous.
  • Experience in supporting guest users and external collaboration is essential.
  • Strong technical skills in M365 and related technologies, such as SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, Azure, SPFx, CSOM, REST API, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Angular, MVC, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and users.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks.
