Operations Coordinator - VR/29557

An Operations Coordinator is required on a permanent basis for a client based in Bridge of Don. This a full-time position with the offer of 1 day working from home.


Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Setting up hire orders in the rental database so as to produce appropriate dispatch paperwork.
  • Formulating proforma invoices, stating weights, dimensions and replacement values for equipment being shipped internationally for rental.
  • Producing cargo summaries; stating weights, dimensions and replacement values for equipment being dispatched locally for rental.
  • Compiling reports with regards to various forms of equipment inspections carried out by staff.
  • Generating customer on-hire reports and send on a weekly basis so as to show equipment remaining on-hire.
  • Updating weekly client spreadsheet stating items on-hire, relevant rig, detailing client owned equipment returned or in storage.
  • Assisting with locating assets during stock audits by means of historical checks on movements of same.
  • Liaising with both clients and Yard Team respectively with regards to current and upcoming hires and hire returns.
  • Assisting Operations Manager when needed.
  • Participating in on-call rotation.


Applicants to this role require:

  • Good operational and technical experience.
  • Good knowledge of Mooring equipment.
  • Experience with Navision.
  • Effective/competent Microsoft Office Suite User.
  • High level of communication skills both written and verbal.
