Senior Conveyancing Solicitor / Associate - VR/13198
Working for one of Scotland’s leading law firms, based at either of the 3 locations, you will provide a national conveyancing support service to corporate clients including Housing Associations, Local Government, Financial Institutions, Insolvency Practitioners, Governmental Bodies and Debt Purchasers.
Ideal candidates will have considerable experience of conveyancing, legal advice relating to Scots property law, business development, relationship management, case management system engineering and tenders.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing an array of corporate clients for all of their conveyancing requirements.
- Missives negotiation for both residential and commercial sale and purchase transactions.
- Drafting legal documents required for residential and commercial sale, purchase and re-mortgage transactions.
- Complex conveyancing and high level title rectification where appropriate.
- General legal advice to corporate conveyancing clients.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- LLB (Hons), Diploma in Legal Practice Qualified.
- Solicitor with Current Practising Certificate.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Previous conveyancing experience.
- 3-7 years PQE in a larger firm.
- Residential or commercial property experience.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience working for corporate clients.
- Relevant specialist accreditations.
Knowledge:
- Strong technical knowledge regards property law and conveyancing procedures.
Aptitudes:
- Attention to detail.
