The successful candidate will act as the focal point for the allocated internal contracts held by the Operational Business Delivery Teams, and any other projects allocated by the Department Manager.  The Specialist Cleaning Focal Point will be responsible for the pre-engineering, execution and close out of assigned projects. 

The Specialist Cleaning Focal Point will have the following main duties and responsibilities:

• Completing CTR for the works to be executed as part of the assigned project.
• Planning and monitoring the project budgets and costs during execution and on completion.
• Managing and monitoring the selection and requisition of all plant, equipment and materials on the assigned project.
• Optimising deployment and performance of human resources to achieve or exceed performance targets.
• Communicating progress and any operational difficulties and commercial implications to the responsible Operational Business Delivery Teams / customer.
• Contributing to negotiations with the customer where any variations and changes to contract carry commercial implications.
• Communicating the progress, variations and costs of the assigned project to the customer and company management. Where possible, suggesting improvements and efficiencies to enhance profitability. 
• Planning operations in conjunction with client representatives and responsible Operational Business Delivery Teams.
• Communicating progress of operations through liaison with clients and responsible Operational Business Delivery Teams on a regular basis.
• Identifying and reacting to shortfalls in customer service.
• Cultivating and developing good customer relations.
• Planning and monitoring the requisition and expedition of all resource requirements including material, equipment and personnel (including subcontractor services).
• Liaising with the HR Team and Platform Team regarding resource requirements and mobilisation of personnel.
• Ensuring the co-ordination of shipments to worksite through Logistics Department.
• Providing technical support to offshore and onshore teams across all disciplines.
• Attending project kick-off meetings.
• Liaising with assigned Operational Business Delivery teams to gain knowledge of future projects.
• Ensuring that CTRs, project estimates, work scopes and work packs are completed in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that the mobilisation of personnel, plant, equipment and materials are inputted into client’s planning system.
• Setting up and maintaining Anomaly Database.
• Managing growth and variations.
• Setting up and maintaining key communications with offshore teams.

Experience / Qualifications:

• A relevant Engineering degree / HND qualification would be preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar onshore-based Specialist Cleaning Focal Point type role, within the oil and gas industry, is essential.
• Applicants should have sound working knowledge of NORM management, chemical cleaning, HP/UHP water jetting and industrial cleaning activities.
