We are looking to recruit to recruit a Spray Painter on a permanent basis for our client based in the south side of Aberdeen. The role will involve preparing products ready for the application of spray PU elastomer material. You will also prepare products for the application of final coat of 2-part paint either by hand or spray application.
Skills and Experience
- Trained in the use of spray equipment and use of air tools.
- Able to work on own initiative and must be prepared to work overtime and shifts as required to meet deadlines set.
- Spray painting and preparing for spray painting.
- Ability to read drawings for checking and measuring products.
- Able to work on own initiative and must be prepared to work overtime and shifts as required to meet deadlines set.
Qualifications
- Must have experience with spray painting either in industrial spray painting or in car body repairs or ex-coachbuilder.
- Experienced in spraying 2-part polyurethane elastomer material and controlling the thickness of this material is desirable.
