Reporting to the Accounting Manager, duties will incorporate:

• Preparing audit files, ensuring accounting and reporting for assigned legal entities comply with local GAAP/IFRS for external and statutory reporting purposes.
• Focal point for external auditors during the audit of statutory accounts.
• Preparing information for the Tax Department to support annual tax filings.
• Assisting with specific local tax filings and reconciliations, such as VAT.
• Performing monthly and quarterly accounting allocations in the management books.
• Overseeing and reviewing entries made by the Management Accounting Team to ensure compliance with legal and statutory reporting structures.
• Conducting online balance sheet reconciliations on a quarterly basis.
• Participating in the quarterly cost centre forecast mapping exercise.
• Supporting the submission of statistical returns or filing documents as required by local government authorities.

Experience in preparing financial statements is required. Consideration will be given to applicants who perform these duties as part of a broader role or those who specialise in financial accounting.
