In your role as Tendering Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the administration of allocated tenders, dealing with all commercial and estimating activities associated with client tender requirements, as well as subcontract and supplier requirements, from receipt of enquiry through to contract award.

You’ll be the focal point for cost estimating; providing support across the business on all estimating matters and supporting the development and use of costing systems.

Applicants should have experience working in a commercial environment in a similar role, with exposure to commercial concepts relating to risk management and tendering activities. Knowledge of estimating techniques for the oil and gas industry is essential, as is knowledge of contractual terms & conditions and the ability to negotiate with clients and suppliers.

You’ll need the ability to work under pressure and to prioritise a busy workload. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are essential.

Experience in an offshore or subsea related industrial environment is preferred, as is a degree qualification in a relevant discipline.
