With an excellent track record of providing internal progression, this role would suit recent finance graduates, those with 1-2 years’ experience or those currently undertaking their professional accounting studies.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting the Senior Project Accountant in all aspects of cost control of assigned projects including forecasting and commitment tracking of man hours, procurement activities and vessel operations.
• Providing Project Managers with advice and support in financially managing their projects
• Assisting in the month end process by ensuring that SAP accurately reflects project costs and revenues to date, including any accruals or prepayments
• Assisting the Senior Project Accountant in preparing monthly financial forecasts for projects.
• Analysing variances from as-bid financials by building a detailed monthly analysis of variances from prior forecast.
• Preparing month end project reports and review with assist the Senior Project Accountant and Project Manager.
• Attending project / client meetings and provide relevant financial input and reports as required.
• Preparing and issuing all project invoices.
• Assisting the Senior Project Accountant by preparing project cash flows in support of the Group's Treasury requirements for cash flow forecasting.
• Developing effective interfaces with the Projects, making recommendations to improve / enhance existing processes.

As your role develops, you will assume more responsibility, eventually developing to the level of Project Accountant.

Past experience of SAP would be advantageous. You should be able to express yourself articulately and have demonstrable analytical skills.
