In this key role you will be responsible for timely and accurate tax reporting and UK tax compliance for the UK Group.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in tax compliance, tax reporting and tax accounting and possess an in-depth knowledge of UK corporate tax, IFRS and UK GAAP.  This is an unrivalled opportunity to join a business committed to the ongoing development of the energy sector in both traditional and renewables energy.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Planning and leading the UK corporate income tax provision reporting for the UK Group.
• Reporting for the UK Tax group under US GAAP, ASC740, IFRS and SoX compliance.
• Liaising with Corporate Tax Accounting Group on all UK reporting.
• Overseeing the preparation and filing of UK corporate income tax returns for all UK entities.
• Leading the relationship with HM Revenue & Customs.
• Training and development on relevant UK tax and reporting topic.
