This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance during an important period of transition.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Performing detailed balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Reviewing and analysing monthly accounting reports to identify variances and anomalies.
• Analysing and scrutinising the profit and loss statement.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities through comprehensive financial analysis.
• Managing and overseeing the capital expenditure (Capex) process.

Applicants to this role require

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) or QBE with substantial relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a comparable accounting role.
• Proven experience in audit, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, managing priorities to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
